Kenwood TS-940S/AT

Gentlemen,
I recently purchased a Kenwood TS-940S/AT (serial number over 20 mil) -
I know that the user manual states 100 % duty cycle at 100 % power -
but they do put a caveat in there - something like if transmit times
are going to exceed 1 hour the power output should be reduced. This
leads me to my question - for one is the stated duty cycle really 100 %
as stated above? Do any of the users on this group run RTTY with a
TS-940 and if so do you "baby it" or do you turn the power up to 100
watts or greater and run it that way regularly? Have you experienced
any problems in doing so? Have you done anything "special" to run it
for long durations (for example 100 watts RTTY for contesting all
weekend long) ((When I say special like this I mean for example - extra
fan on heat sinks - power supply modifications, PA unit modifications,
etc).
Any information is appreciated - I've really been babying this rig ever
since I got it because I get the impression that the guy who owned it
before me did also - its really a beauty (inside and out) and it was
(and is) very well taken care of...
Thanks,
KI4JKU - Clyde Moody
