Computer Control of Icom M700Pro
 
Does anyone know the protocol used for serial control of the Icom
M700Pro. I would like to write a Visual Basic inter face to control my
radio.. From the computer.
Any and all information will be most apriciated!!!

I know nothing of the M700Pro...but...If you haven't tried, Icom has a
standard control protocol used on virtually all its (ham) radios.

Have you dome Google on the model?

This was the first one of many...


It is described on the mods.dk web site along with the level converters. I
wrote my own Excel spreadsheed macros using VBA. I control my Icom 706
MKIIG, my TS-2000, TH-F6A handheld and a speach synthesis module with it.

I posted versions on most of the 706 Yahoo group's Files areas.
