Default Need Help!!! (RELM Mini-Comm MP32) from someone who knows more than me, which shouldn't be hard.

Can anyone provide any information on modifications that are available
for the RELM Mini-Comm MP32 , specifically the MPU32A. I am especially
interested in extending frequency range., The specs on this radio put
the frequency range for the MPU32 (A) at 403 to 430MHz and the MP32 (B)

at 450 t0 480MHz, I would like to see if I can extend the (A) range
into the (B) range. Any suggestions, especially web sites with the info

would be helpful.

Perhaps the manufacturer's web site would be a good place to start. They
used to have Hams working there, so may be sympathetic to your request if
you couch it in terms of moving the equipment to the Ham Band. I think
moving them into the commercial band would not meet FCC requirements.

Note: RELM = REgency Land Mobile. I think RELM is what was left after
Regency sold their scanner line to Uniden.
