Default single handheld

Yaesu VX-7R, according to their brochure. (I'm a brand new ham, so have
just gotten done researching which HT I want to buy. This one is in the
running...)

Do any single HTs exist that can transmit on all of those bands? I've
seen tri-band HTs, but not any quad-banders ...

As for the trunk tracking, what you might want to do is find a amateur
radio transceiver that does most of what you need, and a digital trunk
tracking scanner that does what you want, and then use this high-tech
tool --

to merge the functionality of the two into one.

Doug McLaren,
