Just my 2 cents worth on the Kenwood TS-2000...
Does anyone else think the Kenwood TS-2000 is ugly? It seems odd that a company like Kenwood could come out with a radio as beautiful as the Kenwood TS-940, and then follow it up a few years later with a radio as ugly as the Kenwood TS-2000. |

I had the 2000X for several months. Just could not get used to the firmware after years of Icom. Selecting the RX antenna port was a hassle, no band stacking registers, filter presets- on and on. Got rid of it and happy again with a PRO II. Dale W4OP |

Kenwood is also getting ready to jump on the D-Star bandwagon.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. I think the Honda Element is
one ugly vehicle, but I see a lot of 'em on the road. My 2000 seems to be quite a radio for the price. It does just about everything I want and need in a rig, and does it all very well.
