RICHMOND - The arrest of Kevin Strom on child-pornography charges
points up the need for "policing" of rightist ranks, as never before.
According to an irate Travis Golie, pro-majority forces need to obtain
"legal, accounting and spiritual guidance" and avoid hooking up with
fatally-flawed activists. Strom, a former associate of the late William
L. Pierce, who published the bombing-plans used by Tim McVeigh, was
nabbed at his residence. His former and second wives had reportedly
made incriminating statements against him and the unlawful material was
found on his computer.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Strom had solicited donations,
via the Internet, purportedly for "white" storm-victims. But, no public
accounting was ever rendered and his associate, Frank Weltner, was shut
down by a court-order obtained by the Missouri Attorney-General.
Evidence had been introduced that all funds raised went into Weltner's
personal account. Barry Hackney had once said that a competent and
effective rightist needs "a lawyer, accountant and preacher," at his
side, and that "using the system to change the system" is preferable to
jail.

Numerous jailed-associates

Numerous Strom-associates have been jailed, such as Chester Doles, for
being an ex-con in possession of an arsenal, James Burmeister, for
murder, Todd VanBiber, for bomb-making, and Eric Hanson, for murder.
Shaun Walker is awaiting trial for organizing violence and Larry
Shumake was killed in a shoot-out with police. Strom peppered his
website with photos of females, some as young as twelve, but never
posted advice to follow the law, keep proper accounting or use a
vocublary which might fend off lawsuits or prosecutions. He, also,
never condemned lawlessness.

Strom, who had conducted Internet audio-clips in behalf of Pierce, had
touted the line that rightists should ignore the law, advice taken by
Alex Curtis, who was jailed for "hate," for calling for "finishing the
job" done by McVeigh, over the Internet. Andrew Pearson countered that
rightists need to promote "a positive message, rather than a primitive
or criminal mind-set." After Pierce's death, Strom set up his own
website from his residence in Earlysville, Virginia. He had, initially,
claimed to have assembled a "board of directors," which broke apart
after a brief tenure.
