I don't know about you, but I really do miss he "good ole days"
before R.H. came on the scene in ham radio. The days back when
75 and 20 meters was a 24/7 comedy show and you knew there
was always something amusing to listen to while you were in the
shop during the daytime on 14.313, or at night on 3.894.5 or 3.901
etc etc and a bunch of other frequencies I need not mention here.

Today you have to read it in on newsgroups, whereas before it was
live and spontaneous entertainment on the radio dial. No wonder this
'hobby' is going down the toilet. It's become a dial full of geeks that
either talk about the weather, their last major medical operation or
who's got a bigger signal. Like being in freakin church, Yawn.
