Info On IC-VR8050 VHF Repeater

I am looking for information on if I can get this repeater into the
amature bands. I purchased it at a hamfest, and would like to use it
as our repeater. It probably will need a Eprom edit or something.
Any information on this repeater in the form of manuals or mods would
greatly be appricated.
