I have an Icom 730 that I purchased several months ago and I have recently
stated to get interested in making more CW contacts and improving my code skills. I have made a few contacts already, but I haven't answered any CQ's yet. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the correct way to zero-beat a CW signal with the Icom 730? I didn't see anything in the 730 manual, but the offset for the Icom 730 is 800 Hz. Can anyone that has had or currently owns a 730 tell me how to properly zero-beat a CW signal with this radio? Thanks for the help. 73, KU4UV Lexington, KY. |
