Default Amateurs By Zip Code (Rocklin/Roseville CA)

There seems to be a dozen ways to get an individual amateur's zip code, but
finding all the amateurs in a particular zip code(s) doesn't seem to be so
easy.

I'd like to find half a dozen extras in about five zip codes around the
Rocklin or Roseville CA area that would be willing to sign up with Smitty's
VEC (GLAARG) to give exams with me at the local community college. Does
anybody have a good way of getting a listing either by zip code or (even
better) a defined radius from a given point?

(GLAARG does the exams for $4 and I am dealing with relatively low income
students, so ARRL is a bit pricey for them.)

1)Goto QRZ.com
2)Click MAIN INDEX
3)Scroll down to "QRZ Database and Information Pages"
4)Click Name Search
5)Type in the zip you want and it will display all the amateur's in that
zip code

Well, I'll be dipped and rolled in cracker crumbs. I thought I tried that
and it gave me an error. I'll go there right now and try again.

Thanks...

Ah, NOW I remember the problem. You are correct; this will give me all the
hams in a particular zip code. And, as somebody else noted, typing in the
city and state will give me the same result.

What I was TRYING to do is to select all the Extras in those zip
codes/cities and was spectacularly unsuccessful in the endeavor.

Suggestions? Other than one by one examining the details on a particular
license number?
