Midlands CB problems
 

My Midlands was cutting in/out so I finally bench tested it. I had power to
the rig.
Out of frustration (it was a cheap rig) I wacked it and it came on!
It woud stay on for awhile, then out again. I "wacked it" back to life
several times.
This is a cheap radio so it might be fun to experiment. Why does it do this?
I checked the power connects, the solderings and whatnot and they all seemed
good. Can I save this rig? Anyone have any other suggestions or reasons as
to why it is doing this?

Cold or bad solder joint?

Try resoldering all connections on the printed circuit board
Sounds like a hairline crack in the circuitboard - or somesthing on that
order
