On 9/18/05 I made a purchase from the website of N5ZTW, William D. Ellis
of Dripping Springs, TX. As of today 10/1/05 I have not received the
FT-847 Interface which I paid nearly $70 for. I have sent Mr. Ellis 3
emails, all went unanswered. I’ve made two phone calls to Mr. Ellis’
residence, no answers.

The only saving grace was that I paid with PayPal. A complaint has been
filed with PayPal so I will be getting back my money after PayPal’s 10
day investigation has completed.

Before making any purchase from Mr. Ellis’ website (N5ZTW) please use
extreme caution.

It’s a shame that a fellow ham would take another ham’s money and not
ship, refund, or even communicate with his fellow ham.

I just received a courtesy package from N5ZTW today. It contained a FT-847
Interface. I am on my way to buy him a thank you card.

Has it occurred to you that he just might be out of town?? I recently
"won" two eBay auctions, except I got called out of town to handle a
series of family crisis's (two family members in the hospital, actually
in surgery on the same day). Fortunately the seller had more patience
then you appear to have
