AS with any high powered RF device -- or even Pentium 4 microprocessors --
thermal design and proper thermal construction is CRITICAL, I would use a copper spreader for building this amplifier due to the close proximity of the 4 RF transistors. This is NOT a beginner's project or kit Here are other web sites with thoughts and construction details, notes. http://www.eham.net/forums/Amplifiers/2417 K9GDT version http://www.qsl.net/k9gdt/radio/600w/600w.htm http://oh8jep.kotinet.com/eb104.html http://oh8jep.50webs.com/project.html http://k6if.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/vi...8c55e69 539e4 http://www.amy.hi-ho.ne.jp/h_harada/EB104.htm gb "Newsgroup" wrote in message ... I am currently in the process of building a eb104 kit. has anyone else built one of these kits. What are your thought on this amplifier. |
