8558B YIG Oscillator - Not Field Repairable?
Has anyone attempted repair of said YIG Ocsillator sealed assembly ("A6")?
in the HP 8558B Spectrum Analyser? If so, were you successful? My copy is putting out -32dbm (spec is +15dbm); otherwise seems fine: sweeps OK, freq is right on, etc. I suspect the 3 transistor amplifier inside the sealed assy. Any suggestions? -georgeK KB1HFT |
