Tube socket holes

I was going to start a valve project and wanted to purchase some hole
saws for cutting out the socket holes. What sizes will I need for 7 9
and octal sockets?

Make sure you are getting chassis punch sizes and not conduit sizes :)

Look for greenlee punches.... do a quick tidy job. Require a 1/4 inch hole to get them started.

Metal is too thick for punches, Ive used hole saws before but I was
having a hard time finding info on the right size to buy. My set was
stolen. I eventually found them listed on the internet but had to look
on 3 different sites to find the 3 values I needed. Of course this
meant I had to look on about 3 dozen sites to find the info I needed.
Like a dummy I didn't think of looking in one of my old radio
handbooks.
