I posted a simple enough question about converting a cb into a telephone and it's been removed. Anyone know why?

First, the question didn't belong here, it's not even radio related.
Far better in sci.electronics.basics, but even then I have doubts, since
it's not an electronic question.

Second, there really isn't an answer. Rip out the existing electronics,
then take a cheap phone from the drugstore and take the circuit board out
and mount it in the CB set. It's purely a cosmetic issue.

Actually, I DO know the answer, and it is NOT in compliance with
Title 47, Part 95, SubPart D, 95.420, UNLESS, Station Owner complies
with the complete Rule, as Amended... which sets very strict provisions
for such an interconnection.

It's still visible on Google Groups where I read, and replied to, your
post. It's worth pointing out, as others have, that this really isn't
an amateur homebrew discussion as such, but rather one relating to
microphone interfacing which is slightly offtopic.
