Heathkit data updates?

Built a Heathkit tube tester in 1975; and had reason to use it the other
day.

Just wondering if there is any source for updated tube data since then?

How many new tubes were released after 1975? Power tubes yes, but they
likely didn't fit the tester anyway. It was past the time of Nuvistors
and Compactrons, and the 12V tubes for use in cars. Yes, people still used
tubes in 1975, but they were fading (there were already articles about
solid state replacements for tubes by 1975) and not much was being made
with tubes.

Funny this topic just popped up. I mentioned to one of our younger
techs at work (30 years old) that I was thinking of building a tube
radio receiver from scratch just a couple days ago. Maybe for the FM
broadcast band or maybe some amateur band and set it on the shelf over
my bench at work. :)

I have a 1975 version of the "RCA Receiving Tube Manual"; anything not
listed on the Heathkit list can probably be figured out from this.

BTW: there's a circuit included in the back for a FM tuner utilizing 3
tubes (two 6CW4 nuvistors and a 6KE8).

Have fun!

1975 is probably fairly current as tube data goes.
