The Analog Devices AD607 would do the trick.........it is an I.F. subsystem
that has I and Q outputs. There isn't much support from Analog Devices on this one, so you would be breaking new frontiers. Pete Leon Heller wrote in message ... wrote in message ... Can anyone reccomend a good small surface mount FM receiver chip that is currently availible? Is it possible to do FM reception with a Direct conversion RX and some simple DSP? You can convert directly down to I and Q baseband with two mixers and a quadrature oscillator, then demodulate the baseband signals with a DSP. 73 Leon -- Leon Heller, G1HSM http://www.geocities.com/leon_heller |
