new to group
 
hi
i am new to this and all news groups .i find this group very interesting but
have a question that is driving me nuts. how can i delete a single message
to this group that i have just read. i can remove all the messages but i
only want to remove them 1 at time.

Depends on the news browsing software you have, but generally when you
look at a message, it is marked as "read". Depending on the options
set in your software, you can choose to see all available messages, or
just the unread ones. If the latter, every time you refresh or purge
the group, you will no longer see the already read messages.
