I had a friend that I used to like to run around with. He always had some good
C & W music for me......... sometimes reception was better than others though.

in the late seventies, i bought my first book on electronics. i bought
it because it was cheap, it was cheap because it came from the
erstwhile russia. it was a really excellent book called 'entertaining
electronics'. i really rocked.

one of the more interesting stories was that of a man who went to his
shrink saying that he was hearing voices in his head asking him to buy
something or the other. after a while, he started reporting news,
weather and sports! at this point, the shrink realised that this dude
was actually able to hear radio broadcasts. they seem to be improving
with age, literally.

an investigation releaved that he had a recent tooth-capping done. the
tooth-cap was slightly oxidised and the nerve-end formed a cats
whiskers which was direclty pumping AM broadcasts into his nervous
system! i don't know if the story was interesting, but it compelled me
to read the entire chapter on holes and electrons.
