But ... but if you put it on your backpack, then it winds up looking
like one of the backpack GPSen from the Ashtech or Trimble catalog!
Where's the fun in _that_?

Now, if you mount one of the high-$, high-precision Trimble or Ashtech
GPS antennas, complete with planar choke-ring array, on or under your
hat, _that_ qualifies as well out on the tinfoil-hat axis. I wonder if
my Garmin 76 will talk to one of those, and where I can get one cheap.
