Transistor ID help please

Trying to replace a burnt out transistor that I think was a regulator,
was attached to a heat sink so it was involved in power or
amplification I guess, anyway its located in a power supply and has
the code k1821 on it and a logo saying FC as well...and thats all. I
cant find any info on this thing, anyhelp is appreciated!!

It might be an FET. Try searching for data on 2SK1821.

You can find the data-sheet he
http://s-shopping.elisasp.net/datasheet_en/

Look in the high voltage power MOSFET section.

Hi,

It may be a 2SK821 FET. Do a Google search for the NTE web site and
crossreference it.
