WWV Receiver Schematic Needed

Hello,
Does anyone have any schematics or recommendations for such for
building a WWV receiver? I can't afford to buy one due to
disability-related medical expenses, but I could afford to build one
with some help. The help I can get. The schematic I have not. Can you
please help? Thank you very much.~~Ray

On pages 75-76 of 73 Magazine for some month ending in "ER" in 1971
(I can't be more specific; years ago I tore the article from
the magazine and punched holes so I could put it in a three-ring
binder. The bottom hole wipped out the rest of the month name!)
is an article "Converting the AC/DC for WWV" by John S. Hollar, Jr.,
W3JJU. The "AC/DC" was also known as an "All American Five".

In the article, Mr. Hollar described how he rebuilt the converter
circuit to receive WWV at 10MHz; he said it worked fine in Pennsylvania,
even during daylight hours.

Just about any shortwave radio that covers 5, 10, 15, and 20 MHz will easily
pickup WWV. You can find relativily cheap transistor ones that will serve
the purpose and save you lots of time and perhpas money.

Ray,
Assuming that your emphasis is on building rather than buying,
you can do a google search for "shortwave receiver schematic" which yields
numerous choices including this very simple one:
