Language Translator (Was La chance de votre vie)

If you English only types absolutely have to know what a message in another
language is saying -- use a language translator like this one at URL:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/translate.dyn

Not perfect but gives the essence of it all.

If you post in other than English -- the above URL will translate to English
for you if you wish to reach a wider audience.

But perhaps the post below in French was intended for French readers only
(:-)

I have a book around here, somewhere, by Mark Twain entitled "The Jumping
Frog, in English, then in French, then clawed back into civilized language once

more by patient unremunerated toil." In this book, Mr. Twain writes about an
article in a French periodical concerning Mr. Twain's Jumping Frog story.
"This gentleman's article is an able one," Mark wrote, "(as articles go, in
the French, where they always tangle up everything to that degree that when
you start into a sentence you never know whether you are going to come out
alive or not)."
I'm not an English only chauvinist. Whenever I come across a posting in
French
I politely say "gesundheit" and go on to the next post. After all, there's no
honor in
making fun of a man with a cold.
