NPO cap markings?
A while back I got the NORCAL capacitor kit. Very useful. But I've
forgotten how the NPO caps are marked. Does the black mark at the top indicate NPO? Thanks, 73 Bill N2CQR M0HBR |
Yes ( In all the ones I know of, at any rate.)

It sounds like you just need to know for this one kit, but the designation
"C0G" also indicates a zero temperature coefficient, it's just a different nomenclature than used with NP0. "matt wilson" wrote in message ... Yes ( In all the ones I know of, at any rate.) COG is the modern designation. It replaced NPO about 15-20 years ago. I have no idea why. - ----------------------------------------------- Jim Adney Madison, WI 53711 USA ----------------------------------------------- |
