Nothing received but the usual spam here I'm afraid, Reg. :-(
No matter. I just believe I've identified a bug in Solnoid3 that you
might care to look into and sort out, should the mood take you. :-)
I can post the details here if you prefer.

Paul,

I am very reluctant to discuss this sort of thing on a newsgroup. It is
likely to develop into a multi-post thread with sub-threads, aggravated by
do-gooders and mischief-makers who imagine they know more about the program
and coils than either you or I. Misunderstandings and aggro galore. The end
result being inconclusive and a general loss of confidence in everything.
And I venture to say, all this palaver when a bug in the source code does
not exist - all being due to using a program outside its range of
useability or some similar misunderstanding because I can't write the
introduction to a program in the form of a book.

As I said in my e-mail which you havn't yet received, try sending me another
test message as follows -

(1) Do not use my e-mail address as may be found in newsgroup messages.

(2) My correct e-mail address is

(3) Ensure my address is correct in your address book.

(4) In the "To" line enter "Reg Edwards" without the inverted commas, and
nothing else.

(5) In the "Subject" line use all capital letters and identify yourself.

This may help to distinguish your message from the 300 spam messages I
receive every day. My service provider, the worst ever, doesn't help
either.
----
Yours, Reg Edwards.

Fair enough, Reg. I suspect I already know what the problem - if such
it is - may be if you use the C language as I do for this type of
thing. In any event, discretion is assured; no problem.

As I said in my e-mail which you havn't yet received, try sending me another

Okay, Reg. I'll send you a test message first (coming right up) in
accordance with your instructions and set out the circumstances in
full if we can establish contact.

I assume you got my message with the problem outlined in detail, Reg?
No confirmation received by e-mail so am posting this via the
newsgroup in case your e-mail's still up the shoot. BTW, hard disk
failure on my main computer means I'll only have a couple of times a
day for the time being to check for mail and news posts. :-(
