i should speak too loudly into the mic to get more output power!
Hello
i have IC706MKII whith original Mic i should speak too loudly into the mic to get more output power on SSB! So i disturb XYL and my own helth! Any alternative please CN8JV From MORROCO |

Use a speech processor.

Hi,
If this is of any help, the service manual (12MB) for the IC-706MKII may be downloaded from here (12MB) - http://www.cqham.ru/ftp2/ser_ic-706mk2g.pdf Perhaps you can then find some way of increasing the microphone circuit gain. 73 de Joe, G3LLV |
