I just tried these out under Linux by using the Wine emulator.
Works ok, but the selection boxes could be a little wider to see
all the text (could be a wine font issue).

If you feel like posting the source code, I'd be tempted to
try a native Linux port.

This is a core calculator linked to detailed data on a huge range of
toroids:
* The T-type iron dust range
* The Fair-Rite FT ferrite range
* The Siemens/Epcos/Siferrit range
* The Philips Ferroxcube range
* A very useful section on "unknown toroids" which works the
calculations backwards to find AL and mu-i

It also includes an air-core solenoid calculator.
