What kind of "CW"? Keyed carrier or modulate tone (MCW)?
well i would preffer amplitude modulated tone.... The simplest receiver you could build would be a superregenerative, as was used in simple handhelds sold in the early 1950s. That would work fine for MCW type signals, but would not do for keyed carrier CW. wheare i can found schematics of that handhelds? |

if you go to this site
http://qrp.pops.net/qrp/default.htm and look at the http://www.qrp.pops.net/cascoder1.htm its designed for 7 MHz but you can change that by downloading http://www.qrp.pops.net/apps/resonator.zip and putting in the frequency of your choice, the schematic it will give you, should be enough to change the front end of the 7 MHz RX.. That should get you 1/2 way there.. |
