Hi Fella's
I am in the process of restoring an HW-202 back to as mint a radio as I can. I was able to get quite a few of them in various states of condition for very little money, and the idea is salvage all the really nice parts and make a perfect (close to perfect) radio for keeps. Well, this radio uses small male and female pin/plug connectors for the connection between the wiring harness and circuit boards and I would like to replace them with new ones preferably gold plated. Do you know where I could get an item like this? The originals look like they are tin plated and might become problematic with vibration and corrosion Or should I just use some sort of gold plated post instead and skip a removable pin/plug of the original? Thank you in advance for looking this over for me. Best wishes Mike Burch K8MB Apache Junction, AZ |
