Default AM/FM Synthesized Tuner

Has anyone built an AM/FM tuner using PLL synthesizer and micro
controller chips? There is some documentation using i2c bus, however I
cannot find any microprocessor i2c chips that mate to the TSA6057
synthesizer. Thanks in advance.

You can implement I2C on any MCU, using software. Many have hardware I2C
include the MegaAVRs and the Philips LPC2000 ARM family.
