Circuit Simulators

Hi, all concerned:

Belated thanks to past suggestions, due to which I've been studying and
using trial downloads of the following:

1. tina.com

2. beigebag.com

3. 5spice.com

4. cirsim http://www.bells-hill.freeserve.co.uk/

5. circuitmaker

6. electronics workbench

7. pspice orcad.com

Prices range from $20 to $2.3E3.

Anyone out there have any of the above for sale?

TIA &

Dave : I would recommend SuperSpice. A trial version limiting you to 20
components is free. You would classify as a student for the full version
of $70. http://www.anasoft.co.uk Larry VE7EA

Microsoft will soon release their newest product: a vacuum cleaner.
It will be their only product which doesn't suck.

Check out Linear Technology's LTSpice as well... it's free and arguably has
one of the largest feature sets available for the price.

Though tangential to your request, I'd point out that there are some
simulators that are good for specific problems. RFSim99, for example,
is a wonderfully simple and useful little program for looking at linear
RF circuits. It includes a Butterworth and Chebychev filter design
tool, attenuator design, L/pi/T match tool, inductor, capacitor,
transmission line, splitter, and coupler tools, and an L/C/f/X
calculator, in addition to the circuit simulation/two-port network
analysis in the main window.

Cheers,
Tom
