New Program RJELOOP4

This program predicts approximate performance of general purpose,
multiband, horizontal loop antennas of given perimeter of loop. It is
not intended for precision predictions of operating data.

A loop is a continuous wire without loading coil or capacitor. It can
be of any shape provided the area enclosed by the loop is not less
than 2/3rds of that of a circle of the same perimeter, ie., it is not
too irregular.

It is the sort of antenna which is forced on the amateur by the shape
of his back garden and the pre-determined location of trees, poles,
buildings or anything else from which an antenna wire can be
suspended.

Analysis includes a high or low impedance feedline, a choke balun and
an L-tuner. The antenna is most efficient when the perimeter is a
whole number of wavelengths. It is least efficient when the perimeter
is an odd-number of 1/2-wavelengths. But operation is not limited to
being at, or near to, resonant frequencies.

Download in a few seconds program RJELOOP4 from website below and run
immediately.
