FCC STUDY AND REPORT TO CONGRESS REGARDING ECONOMIC IMPACT OF LPFM
STATIONS ON FULL-SERVICE COMMERCIAL FM STATIONS. Implemented Section 8
of the Local Community Radio Act of 2010, which requires the Commission
to study the economic impact that low-power FM stations will have on
full-service commercial FM stations and to submit a report to Congress
by January 4, 2012. (Dkt No. 11-83 ). Action by: Chief, Media
Bureau. Adopted: 01/04/2012 by REPORT. (DA No. 12-2). MB
