KCRW Acquires KDB Santa Barbara

KCRW Los Angeles is expanding northward up the coast into Santa Barbara.
KCRW has agreed to acquire Classical 93.7 KDB Santa Barbara after the
station was put on the block by the Santa Barbara Foundation last fall.
KCRW will partner with Antioch University to create a local studio on
campus with some student involvement. Additionally []

Midwest Communications has pulled the plug on Active Rock 96 Rock 95.7
KDAL-FM Duluth, MN. The station flipped to AC on Monday branded as FM 95.7
and positioned as The Northlands Best Variety. The move places the station
between Townsquare Media Classic Hits Kool 101.7 KLDJ and the Hot AC duo of
Mix 108 KBMX []

Elliot In The Morning Out At WOR

After just a month after debuting on Clear Channels 710 WOR New York as its
new morning show, Elliot Segal is out at the revamped Talk station. The
show, which was syndicated from sister Alternative DC101 WWDC Washington,
remains on in that market and Richmond, VA. It had begun airing on WOR on
January 13. []
