/////////////////////////////////////////// New version of the MDSR V2.8 is available for download. Posted: 25 Feb 2014 10:11 AM PST http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php...d&goto=newpost Hi Everybody; MDSR V2.8 is now available for download (includes Manuals in PDF) MDSR has again concentrated to bring you the best audio quality out of your existing analog RIG by turning it into an IF SDR. A simple and reversible modification on many analog transceivers is all it takes to connect the down converter (LIF2012 – available as kit) or the BiLIF (also a kit) to the soundcard of the computer (Win XP, Vista, 7, 8). MDSR works with any symmetrical HF transceiver. Please check: http://users.skynet.be/myspace/mdsr/ (click on MDSR kit and Installation) The MDSR team has been hard at work to make the setup and calibration of the MDSR software and the BiLIF unit as easy as setting a level. All the real time level indicators have been integrated with the filter adjustment windows and no external measurement equipment is needed. Download the software manual or the MDSR software from our “Downloads” page. You do not need to be an expert to build the LIF2012 and Bi-LIF kit. It is simple and straight forward and anyone with soldering experience (no SMD) can do it. Check the PDF document on “How to Build and setup the LIF”. If you are interested and want to find out what other HAMs have been doing with the MDSR please join our Yahoo user group, where we have a big collection of pictures and a forum where you can post questions. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/mdsradio/info The MDSR software is free to use for amateur radio operators. All the best and 73; The MDSR TEAM /////////////////////////////////////////// Survey of Delta Division Hams report available Posted: 24 Feb 2014 05:32 PM PST http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php...e&goto=newpost How many hams have DSTAR, APRS, SDR or Broadband-Hamnet? Hear actual criticism that isn't mean-spirited! See Jeff wish our shows were more like their shows! Wonder why you're watching this show when you could be watching those shows (or watching them again!). Be Amazed that our "review" show took longer to watch than both shows we were reviewing combined! Go to our web site to watch HamRadioNow Episode 133: At the Movies. 73, Gary KN4AQ Watch this episode on our web page: HAMRADIONOW.tv HamRadioNow is supported by viewer contributions If you enjoy the programs, visit www.HamRadioNow.tv and "click the pig" THANK YOU to all our contributors! |
