Disney Sells WDYZ Orlando

The sell-off of the Radio Disney stations continues as Salem Communications
adds a fourth AM in Orlando. Salems Pennsylvania Media Associates license
holding company will pay Disney $1.3 million for 990 WDYZ Orlando. The
acquisition will join Salems trio of Conservative Talk 660 The Answer WORL,
Christian Preaching 950 WTLN, and Business Talk 1520 WBZW []

Cumulus Hires Bruce Gilbert As SVP/Sports

Cumulus is creating a brand-new SVP/Sports position for Bruce Gilbert.
Gilbert will join Cumulus from iHeartMedias Premiere Radio Networks where
he was SVP/Sports Operations overseeing Fox Sports Radio. His new position
will give him oversight over all of Cumulus Sports formatted stations as

Cathedral City/92.7 KKUU-HD2 Indio/Palm Springs. MCC registered
Pride1039.com this week for the station. The only comparable brand using
the Pride moniker is iHeartMedias LGBT targeted Pride Radio HD2/webcaster.
