Most of us experience DXpeditions from the pile-up end, whether were
running the legal limit into stacked beams, or 100 watts and a wire. Bob
Allphin K4UEE has made a habit of being at the origination point, and
mostly from places on the Top Ten Most Needed list. Hes made videos of many
of them, most recently the K1N DXpedition to Navassa in early 2015 (that

Cruising to the 2016 AMSAT Space Symposium

The 2016 AMSAT Space Symposium will be held aboard a commercial cruise ship
departing from the port of Galveston, Texas. Sail dates are November 10-14
aboard the Carnival Liberty. Galveston is conveniently located near
Houston, Texas with access from both the George Bush Intercontinental
Airport (IAH) and the Houston Hobby Airport (HOU.) This cruise will embark
on Thursday afternoon at 16:00 CST and return on the following Monday

The recent presentation by Gerald Youngblood, President of Flex Radio
Systems, to the Central Mississippi Amateur Radio Association (cmsara.org)

GlobalSET 2015 a great success – lessons to be learnt



The Simulated Emergency Test to measure the disaster readiness of Amateur
Radio involved 38 countries and four others who recognised its importance
but could not take part this time.



IARU Region 1 Emergency Communications Co-Ordinator Greg Mossop G0DUB, has
