The Portuguese National Communications Authority has authorised use of the
1850-2000 kHz band, in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the
National Table of Frequency Allocations (QNAF) for the 1830-1850 kHz band,
for participation in the following contests during 2016

The Essex 2m net held on GB3DA at 8pm on Mondays is always popular but this
week's broke all previous records with 32 people, including 7 women,
joining in

Ham radio equipment in Indiana Hospital

Amateur radio equipment will be installed in St. Vincent Clay Hospital in
Brazil, Clay County, Indiana, thanks to a nearly $2,000 grant from the
Indiana Department of Homeland Security
