ESA announce competition for radio hams

The European Space Agency (ESA) Education Office will give a prize to the
first three radio amateurs to send a recorded signal from either the
AAUSAT4,
E-st@r-II or OUFTI-1 CubeSats which are expected to launch Saturday, April
23 at 2102 UT

celebrate St George’s Day, today, by operating from Galleywood Common all
day – inviting other enthusiasts to join them

TDARS heads off for Marconi

On April 23rd, 12 members of the Telford and District Radio Society will be
running a memorial radio station on the Welsh coast at Tywyn, Gwynedd -
along with more than 60 other official global radio stations - who will be
commemorating of the birth of Gugliemo Marconi on 25th April 1874

Company settles charges of operating cellphone jammers

An Alabama company has agreed to pay $20,500 in civil penalties to settle
charges that it illegally operated cellular phone jamming devices on its
premises, in violation of FCC rules
