GB1SOE Operations by MKARS Members

MKARS Members will be exhibiting and operating from the Jubilee Hall at
Whaddon on Sunday the 8th of May at an event to Commemorate the 75 th
Anniversary of the first SOE message sent by Georges Beque from a safe
house near to Chateauroux in France and received by MI6 at Whaddon Hall.

The event is organised bY The Secret War Museums and Learning Network ( a
registered charity) and will be staging an exhibition to show how important
Whaddon was in WW2.

On Monday the 9th of May the call GB1SOE will be used by MKARS Members from
Whaddon Hall using a MK 111 tx. and a HRO rx. on 40m CW to communicate with
TM75SOE re inacting the first SOE message 75 years ago.
