ARISS contact planned 1 July for school in Justus-Knecht-Gymnasium,
Bruchsal, Germany



An International Space Station radio contact has been planned for Jeff
Williams KD5TVQ with Justus-Knecht-Gymnasium, Bruchsal, Germany. The event
is scheduled Friday July 1st, 2016 at approximately 08:31 UTC. The amateur
radio contact will be a direct operated by DN1JKG. The downlink signals
should be audible over parts of Europe! (not in america)....

First Field Day experience!

Hello fellow hammers!

Not only was Field day (from home for me) my first, but also - my first
ever to use my newly installed end-fed multi-band antenna! Wow was I
impressed once I got it installed. It took a lot of work in the hot sun up
there on the roof but luckily all worked out well for the most part. I had
no idea that the waterfall (I mostly do digital) was going to be so busy
for field day!

Anyway, I wasnt able to stay up all night because of how tired I was
working on getting...



First Field Day experience!
