On August 27-28, 2016, Kings County ARES (the Amateur Radio Emergency
Service) will establish a temporary Special Event Station on Battle Hill in
Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY to commemorate the 240th anniversary of
the historic “Battle of Brooklyn.”

On September 3rd and 4th 2016, the Radio club of BINCHE (ON7RY) will
activate the Special Event Callsign ON44WAR in order to commemorate the
sacrifice of the Belgian Resistance (WW II) and especially those of the
Refuge B 40 in Waudrez (Belgium).



The timetable of the activities will be as follows :



On Saturday 3rd from 09:00 AM up to 06:00 PM (UTC + 2)

On Sunday 4th from 09:00 AM up to 03:00 PM (UTC + 2)
