Antony, G4CUS reports rather terrible band conditions today with most
contacts coming from the EU but this did include six of the fourteen AN400
Spanish special event stations to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Don
Miguel de Cervantes the author who wrote Don Quixote. There are a number of
diplomas and trophies to be awarded to stations who meet the criteria of
contacts with AN400 stations laid down by the URE (Unión de
Radioaficionados Españoles). He also had one Israeli contact 4Z1SH whos QRZ
page he tells me is worth a visit.
