Denis H Clements, RS14170, passed away on the 16th of August 2016. He was
very proud of his RSGB Membership, having joined in 1946. Â*In his last few
years Den spent more time on his iPad than a radio set, but remained a
great fan of radio. Denis was an electrical engineer all his life. []

It is with deep regret that we learned of the death of John Welsh, G0NVZ,
over the weekend of 5-6 November 2016. In his own words, John was born a
long time ago, progressed to building crystal sets at age 10 and then
studied physics at college. He progressed to valve receivers, valve
