NEW QRZ Forum: QRZ Stickers Around The World

Last week, Fred Lloyd was interviewed on Ham Nation with Bob Heil. Fred
shared the news that QRZ is now producing "Good on QRZ" stickers. QRZ
stickers are available to anyone who sends us a business sized, self
addressed, stamped envelope here at QRZ. Your first sticker is free and if
you would like us to send additional stickers wed be happy to do so for $1
per additional sticker. The stickers are 4x6 inches and need an envelope
that is at least 4 inches tall. Otherwise, well...

A Big Mahalo to Volunteer Examiners!

As 2016 comes to an end the Hawaii amateur radio operators would like to
take this opportunity to thank all Volunteer Examiners (VE’s) who gave up
their time to train, test, and mentor others who have become radio
operators in 2016.



Oahu Volunteer Examiners administered exams to 191people in 2016 with 123
passing. Over 20 sessions and 191 elements administered for an 83% pass
rate. 70 new technicians, 29 new generals and 15 new extra licenses were
issued on Oahu in 2016.
