Around the holidays I seem to be most receptive to heart warming tales of
family, kindness, and joy. This story made me smile and I thought I would
share it with all of you. Its the story of John Nugent, WA2EQJ, whose last
wish was recently fulfilled in Chicago.

Yaesu FT-891 Review: A Sleeper of a Deal

In this article, I write about what I believe to be an incredible sleeper
deal on a truly great rig, for the price. Although not without its quirks,
depending on how you want to use it, the Yaesu FT-891 is actually a very
impressive small desktop rig for those with limited space. It can also
function as a strong portable option, provided you bring enough battery,
and maybe a voltage meter.

6 Meter/50mhz Magnetic Loop For FT-8 And More

Posted: 11 Jan 2018 11:39 PM PST
https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?thr...d-more.591123/

Here is a 6 meter magnetic loop that I purchased from Bob, VE3UK. It is
precision CNC made and developed by Bob himself. All aluminum, at 18 inches
and 1.5 pounds, anyone can store this, use this and move this with no
problem. I cant wait until 6 meters opens back up again. Super easy to
tune, operates 50-54mhz at 100+ watts and can be assembled with a
screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time. Check out the video for more
details.
