The Ayr Amateur Radio Group (AARG) and the Kilmarnock and Loudoun Amateur
Radio Club (KLARC) have both organised 2m ‘on the air’ nights on their
normal club nights on Tuesdays for KLARC and on Fridays for AARG. They
share a daily net most days at 10:00hr on 145.450Mhz. Members from both

Special Event Stations and COVID-19

In the light of government guidance on the Covid-19 pandemic, Ofcom is
relaxing the requirement that Special Event Stations be open to members of
the public. Ofcom says that applicants may disregard that requirement in
the application form and on the online portal, although the form and portal
will be amended to remove it in []
