On Tuesday, May 18, Ofcom confirmed the new EMF licence condition for Radio
Amateurs and most other licenced radio users

New 40 MHz propagation beacon now operational from the West of Ireland

A new 8-metre propagation beacon with the callsign EI1CAH is now
operational from the west of Ireland and it transmits on a frequency of
40.016 MHz

event marking the date when the Antarctic Treaty System entered into force
in 1961

Hawaiian special event

Amateur Radio Operators will activate special-event station K6K to
celebrate King Kamehameha the Great and Hawaii's rich history. K6K special
event station will give HAMS a chance to add Hawaii to their logs to earn
WAS or DCXX awards
