2 The Renfrew Amateur Radio Society has received a #3000 award from the
All Scotland National Lottery Grant. They are planning to buy two new
HF transceivers and two aerials for their special event day, the 100
year scout celebration, Scotland. It is due to take place between 25
and 27 May.


Fantastic news it's great to see a radio club receiving some well deserved
funds. They deserve it just as much as any other organisation. I may pop
along at the end of May!......................and show them how to use their
new radios.:0)...........................I know they'll be reading this.
